I work as an artist in southern California. I studied fine art and animation in San Francisco. I became enthralled with motion design, humor and visual play as well as with painting and drawing. Combining my love of the Pacific Ocean from my childhood with my education led me to this artistic exploration of the natural world and the contradictions of society. As a professional artist, I offer many possibilities for people who have an interest in the ocean and who want to feel connected to it in their every day lives. I have found that there are endless ways to incorporate images from the ocean in a home as well as in a working environment. I also delve into the land of what is funny and yet somehow on the edge of uncomfortable. I practice pushing this line whenever possible. I look forward to the limitless pursuit of these images. I am happiest when I can reach out to others, engaging as many people as possible in the visual discussion of nature, both non human and human.
